To achieve our mission, Redwings is an information source to spread the message of humane care for all horses. The materials on this web site are just a beginning. Our office has much more detailed information about the plight of horses and what you can do.

We also offer classes such as Great Start that teaches new horse owners humane horse handling as a basis for any role their horse will play. You can also become a Redwings volunteer by joining our Level 1 Horse Handling classes that are open to people from the experienced to those who have never touched a horse before.

By making a donation to Redwings, you’ll begin receiving our bimonthly newsletters which give you many different perspectives of horses, with Redwings news, announcements, equine health information, and much more. We encourage you to pass these newsletters along to your friends.

The best way to learn about the plight of horses is to visit our ranch in Lockwood, California. You’ll be able to see and even touch our horses. Many have come away with an undying connection with them, and a commitment to help prevent the same things from happening to other horses.
