MIRAGE

Mirage is a roan mustang with a bold white blaze running down his nose. Before Mirage was born, his mother, Whisper, arrived at Redwings along with a group of mustangs Redwings had rescued from elimination by the BLM (Bureau of Land Management). At the time, Redwings had no idea Whisper was in foal; but after she began to add more weight than usual, we realized we would be welcoming her foal into the world.

Mirage was born soon after and quickly became the “pet” of the whole Redwings staff! Since he had never suffered the abuse his mother had, he immediately trusted people. His curiosity caused him to approach anyone and everyone to sniff out treats they might be able to offer. He grew up playing with his burro friends, Sage and Coyote, as well as his other friend, the Premarin foal, Lover Boy (LB for short).
